Synopsis of the film The Call of the Wild

Adapted from a classic literary story, the movie The Call of the Wild tells the story of Buck, a large-hearted pet dog whose life changed 180 degrees when he was suddenly abducted from his home in California and moved to the exotic wilderness of the Alaska Yukon during the Klondike Gold Fever in the year of 1890s.

Buck became a newcomer to the mailing sled dog towing squad – and then became its leader -Buck experienced an unforgettable adventure, until finally finding his true place in the world and becoming his own master.

As a combination of live-action and animated films, the film The Call of the Wild uses the most advanced visual effects and animation technology to make the animals in the film fully photorealistic – and emotionally authentic.

The film was directed by Chris Sanders, who previously worked on the animated film Lilo & Stitch (2002), How to Train Your Dragon (2010), and The Croods (2013). This film became the first film released by the 20th Century Studios studio which was previously named 20th Century Fox, related to the acquisition of Disney.

The film got a 72% score from the RottenTomatoes website, “Although the CGI features are unnecessary, the Call of the Wild is moving and remains a classic story, told with great affection.” Now those of you who have pets will relate, Buck’s story will warm your heart.
